§ 18-41. Purpose.

The fire department shall be responsible for fire prevention, enforcement of the building code and fire code, fire suppression, delivery of emergency medical services, emergency actions for protection from release of toxic and dangerous or hazardous materials, and such other duties as are prescribed by the manager.
