§ 18-216. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
False alarm means the receipt of and emergency response by the fire department to an audio or visual alarm or signal from an automatic alarm device set off by causes other than the occurrence of an actual life safety hazard.
