§ 20-41. Duties.
The community health board shall make the investigations and reports and obey the directions concerning communicable diseases as the state commissioner of health may require or give. Under the general supervision of said commissioner, the board shall cause any state laws and regulations relating to the public health to be obeyed and enforced. The community health board shall also have general supervision of the enforcement of sections of this Code relating to public health and sanitation by the city department of health, as set forth in section 20-71.
