§ 22-136. Annoying, abusive, threatening or harassing calls.

  • (a)

    No person shall make a telephone call, whether or not conversation ensues, by means of a telephone:

    (1)

    Without disclosing the caller's identity and with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person at the number called;

    (2)

    Make the telephone of another repeatedly or continuously ring, with the intent to harass any person at the number called; or

    (3)

    Make any comment, request, suggestion or proposal which is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy or indecent.

    (b)

    Any such act shall be unlawful whether performed from or to a telephone situated within the city.
