§ 24-166. Items of work.

In addition to the items of work described in section 24-98(a), the city may undertake any one or more of the following items of work in the 50th and France Commercial Area and the Grandview Commercial Area pursuant to Laws of Minnesota 1983, chapter 59:

(1)

Removal of snow, ice and refuse, including litter, from sidewalks, streets and parking facilities.

(2)

Elimination of weeds from any and all streets, sidewalks and private property.

(3)

Removal or elimination of any public health or safety hazards from private property.

(4)

Trimming and care of trees and the removal of unsound trees.

(5)

Repair of sidewalks and alleys.

(6)

Operation, including maintenance and repair, of city-owned lighting systems, streets, sidewalks and public parking facilities.
