§ 26-35. Additional parking rules.

  • No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic control device, in any of the following places:

    (1)

    On a boulevard between sidewalk and roadway;

    (2)

    Within five feet of the intersection of any public or private driveway or alley with any street or highway;

    (3)

    In any place where the vehicle will block a fire escape or the exit from any building; or

    (4)

    In any place where temporary signs prohibit parking, as long as the signs are in place.
