§ 28-42. Purpose for charges.

The rates and charges established by this article are for the purpose of paying:

(1)

The share allocated to the city by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission established by Minn. Stats. § 473.503 for the operation and maintenance costs of the metropolitan disposal system and as defined in Minn. Stats. § 473.121, subd. 24; and

(2)

The operation, construction, reconstruction, maintenance, repair, enlargement, improvement, use and administrative expenses of the city sanitary sewer and water system.
