§ 2-311. Policy and establishment.

The city transportation commission is established to help guide the city in implementing its vision for an integrated, multi-modal local transportation system as stated in the city's comprehensive plan. The system will provide safe and efficient transportation options for all users (motorists, transit riders, bicyclists, and pedestrians of all ages and abilities) in a way that promotes the economic, environmental, social, and personal vitality of the city and its residents.
