§ 32-10. Double Dwelling Unit District (R-2) and townhouse plats.

  • (a)

    Double dwelling units. Any lot in the Double Dwelling Unit District, as then determined by chapter 36, may be subdivided into two lots notwithstanding the regulations stated in chapter 36 which apply to the Single Dwelling Unit Districts. Provided, that as a condition to the approval of the subdivision the owner of the lot to be subdivided shall make a separate and independent connection of each dwelling unit on the lot to be subdivided with the public sanitary sewer and water mains, as required by article XII of chapter 10.

    (b)

    Townhouse plats. As conditions to the approval of any townhouse plat, as defined in chapter 36, of previously built and then existing townhouses, as defined in chapter 36, each townhouse shall be separately and independently connected to the sanitary sewer and water mains, as required by article XII of chapter 10.
